Bindi-Muli fry

Bindi-Muli fry is a combination of okra & radish cooked with onion & spices. Not even in my weirdest dreams, I thought this combination would work until I actually tried. It tasted great with avocado parathas.

Ingredients
Medium sized Onion (finely chopped) - 1 no.
Medium sized white radish (cut into small cubes of 1 inch) - 1 no
Okra (chopped into small pieces) - 2 cups
Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Jeera (cumin) - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1-2 pinches
Oil - 2-3 tbsp
Salt - to taste

Method
Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pan, add jeera to it. After it sizzles, add chopped onions. After it turns translucent, add radish and let it cook for about 7-8 mins. In the meanwhile, take chopped okra in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high for about 7-8 mins. Add okra to cooked onion / radish mix. Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and give a gentle stir. Let it cook for few minutes and remove from heat.

The combined taste of radish & okra with onions was very good and I felt that this fry is a perfect combo for all kind of rotis/parathas. You should definitely try for yourself to see how you like it and I can definitely guarantee that you will not be disappointed!
